As a child of migrants, repurposing plastic containers for continued use is something Katherine was brought up doing. It was a ‘normal’ thing to do.
Embellishing these discarded plastic containers by adapting decoupage techniques Katherine seeks to challenge our preconceived notions of beauty and invites the viewer to take a closer look.
