Inspired by vibrant childhood memories of visiting fabric stores with her tailor father, and embroidered tapestries and lacework created by her mother, aunts and grandmothers.

Katherine draws upon those memories to create abstracted patterns and forms which evoke upholstered fabric and interior spaces from those times.
