Artist Statement:
Each artwork tells a story, the inspiration I find in the beauty of flowers – the enduring memories that often immortalise through special moments they hold. Whether from joyous celebrations, poignant memories, or personal experiences.
Flowering for you – captured floral elements from my niece’s wedding floral arrangement.
I photograph these flowers, and these images are printed onto digital sheets of organza and attached to a hand-painted ink and acrylic fabric. Another layer is collected foliage elements which are gelliprinted onto the fabric. The final touch is embroidery, where detailed stitches add colour and texture to each piece.
