Artist Statement:
This painting was inspired by my first trip to the snow in many years ago. I was soon to learn snowboarding was not my strength, nor jumping off the chair lift in time. But alas, I was also struck by the all white landscape and the silhouette of the trees, it just looked stunningly surreal. So I found watercolour to be the perfect medium to express the not so predictableness of that day.
