Artist Statement:
This piece was inspired by an indigenous art show I visited. Upon viewing the vast array of intricate artworks I felt a sense of serenity and calm. The intricate dots, lines and colours formed the most unique patterns, yet appeared to be free from symmetrical constraint. I found myself to be moved by memories of sacred places I have visited and interesting people I have met. This artwork is a homage to the traditional land owners and their ancient teachings.
