An exhibition curated by Katherine Marmaras and presented by Geelong Art Space.

‘Waste Not, Want Not’ brings often-unseen contemporary craft practices to audiences in regional Victoria which seeks to inspire new perspectives on creativity, and provide a safe and welcoming space to visit.

Exhibiting artists include: Karryn Argus, Amanda Benn, Jane Bodnaruk, Miranda Brett, Adelaide Butler, Di Ellis, Kris Estreich, Catherine Lees, Katherine Marmaras, Jem Olsen, Rozalie Sherwood, Nettie Sumner, and Julia Wright.

This carefully curated exhibition showcases the contemporary craft practices of artists and makers who are mindful of their environmental impact and choose to reimagine and repurpose materials by adapting traditional techniques to create unique contemporary art pieces.

Ultimately, ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ serves as a reminder that we all have a responsibility to create and consume in ways that are more respectful of our planet and environment.
